POINT guard Nard John Pinto scored the game-winning jumper with less than minute left to lift Arellano University to a close 71-70 win over Emilio Aguinaldo College on Saturday in the 89th National Collegiate Athletic Association senior basketball at The Arena in San Juan City.
Known by his endgame winning shots, Pinto scored another game winner three games after leading his team to a 76-75 win against Lyceum. “That’s my job and I was so lucky to hit those winning shots,” said Pinto. “There is no pressure at all.”
