9th FMC Collegiate Open updates – Chiefs, Knights in the Quarterfinals

The Arellano University Chiefs are in the quarterfinals while the College of St. Benilde-B Blazers stayed close to their goals in the ongoing 9th Fr. Martin Cup Collegiate Open Basketball tournament.
The Chiefs big baskets from Patrick Forrester as they waylaid the University of Perpetual Help-A Altas, 94-51, and posted their fifth win in six games in Group B at the Trinity University of Asia gymnasium in Quezon City.
Forrester banged in 18 points for the Chiefs while Paolo Taha shot 12 points for the Blazers, who picked up their second win in four games also in Group A.
The Chiefs joined the early qualifying Letran Knights in the quarterfinals.
