on-line campaign. Players with the most votes were awarded the Silverworks Dog Tag.
On November 5, 2010, in an event held at the KKK Restaurant of Robinsons Place Ermita, Manila , Silverworks celebrated the occasion with free-flowing drinks and live music with former UE Red Warriors team captain, James Martinez, and College of St. Benilde Blazers big man Timothy McCoy representing this year’s Ultimate Hard Court Heartthrob.
“I was surprised that I won the Heartthrob title and I was happy to know that there are people who would vote for me,” Tim McCoy said after getting 3,048 votes making him NCAA’s current Heartthrob. “I just did my thing every game, getting my haircut and shaving my beard, nothing special.”
“my mindset was to help my team win games, especially this last UAAP season, considering that it was my last playing year.” James Martinez said when he tallied a grand total of 4,126 votes to win the heartthrob accolade.
“And honestly, I think I owe it (the title) to my JamesFever Family and also to the UE community who have been with me through thick and thin.”
