Oo iisa lang ang Alma Mater ng La Salle Schools kaya nga “One La Salle” eh. yung Ateneo ewan ko lang mukhang hindi naman pinapansin ng Ateneo de Manila yung ibang school nila eh parang display lang.

150 years na kamo ang ateneo but lately your school has become known for producing corrupt government officials and businessmen. sana tumigil na kayo after jose rizal.

I used to love reading your website. I have to admit that the first column I would read would be that of The Green Mind. He may have been an asshole, offensive and bias, but his column was fun. It was what college basketball was all about.

You also hace to admire the jerk for writing 1 to 2 columns a week which is something you 4 that are left don’t do at all.

I would go to his column just to read the comments andit was really fun. Now inboundpass is really boring.

I hated TGM with a passion but now, in all sincerity I miss the fun that his column brought to this site.

(the years indicated herein are the years they won.)

1) The 1993-1996 UST. If you were watching the UAAP during these years, UST was just simply phenomenal. They dominated the league in ways that no other team ever did and has. La Salle came close several times. In fact, they were so dominant in 93 that the UAAP was forced to switch to the Final Four format the season after.

2) 1998-2001 La Salle- The Franz Pumaren era was really DLSU’s strongest years. The Mean Green Machine steamrolled over the UAAP opposition like no one’s business.

3) 1987/1988 Ateneo- Some say of Danny Francisco had played on, they would have won a third crown. Francisco’s game owned Limpot every time they matched up during this era.

4) 1989-1990 Jun Limpot couldn’t answer an interview to save his life but he, Pumaren, Noli Locsin, Johnedel, Cardel, Mariano, Lago and Eddie V were practically a pro team at this point in time.

5) 2008/2009 Ateneo The 2008 team wasn’t expected to do much but Rabeh Al Husseini suddenly went from bench player to monster and the rest is history. There really was no other big man in the UAAP who could stand up to him. As good as Rico Maierhoffer, he’s a wing player and he’s the closest match.

6) 1991/1992 FEU Controversial to say the least but Johnny Abarrientos, Vic Pablo, Arnold Padaong, Nestor Echano and crew were a joy to watch on the open court. The controversy keeps them from going up the ladder though.

Maynila ang kapital ng Pilipinas noon.Kaya Ateneo De Manila ang pangalan ng University nila. At yang alma mater song ng Ateneo De Manila ibah yan sa alma mater ng Ateneo de Davao ..etc. kasi nasa phrase ng kanta “..where loyola’s colors fly…” Ang La Salle lahat yatah kayo iisa lang ang alma mater song eh… “Hail hail alma mater…”

bago ka humirit alamin mo muna, at FYI mas maraming basketball championship s ang ADMU compared sa DLSU.

no one can beat the 4-peat Championship made by the UST Golden Tigers in 1993-1996, led by Dennis Espino, Bal David, Edmund Reyes, Rey Evangelista, Patrick Fran, Gerard Francisco, Siot Tanquincen, Udoy Belmonte, Richard Yee, Dale Singson and Cris Cantonjos… they were all Pinoy line-up, no Fil-Ams nor Am-boys pero they were a dominating team the fact na grabe ang competition nila sa la salle nun with bunch of amboys like the lago brothers…

— the greatest group of players ever played in the UAAP Final 4 era… — Patawa naman to,,,, 4 peat lang pinag aawayan niyo.. WHY dont you look into deeper history.. UE won 7 consecutive championship…… yon ang record na kailangan i break ng mga aspiring na mahahangin.. kasi yon yung tunay na DYNASTY and HISTORY..

Sana magising ang gobyerno natin na asikasuhin ang ikauunlad ng bansang Pilipinas.
