i think nonoy baclao is already 22-23 years old. he played college basketball for 2 years in negros province already before he went to ateneo.

The PCC is a great concept and i hope in the future it becomes the most prestigious title in college basketball.
I would like to point out that they should not let the teams from Manila wear their practice uniforms.
Kahit mahina yung kalaban ay ibigay pa rin yung respeto sa ibang teams at sa PCC itself.
Para sa players from the provinces malaking bagay kasi sa kanila ito.Sana mabigyan pansin it para din sa ikagaganda ng tournament.

Hey every body,
Peace.
Do you guys watch the show 1U, shown on CS channel 9?
Did you guys heard Mr. Christian Soler’s comments about Nonoy Baclao and Rico Maierhofer. He said Nonoy, in time will be the number 1 pick come when he decides to enter the proffessional level, meaning the PBA. Somewhat biased and over rated, but really, he’s right. The kid (he’s still, a teenager right?) has mad skills. He looks like a fresh Vic Pablo, with a bigger nose but thats just his drive or passion to the game. And about Mr. Soler’s comments about Rico Maierhofer. Well, cant remember the words correctly, he just showed that he’s blue and not green, intellectually and intelligently.

I’m sure the “scouts” are watching out for the outstanding players from the non-Metro Manila teams. We may see some of that talent moving to the “more familiar” colleges and/or universities in the next couple of years. The PCC is just a great, great concept and will eventually redound to the benefit of all basketball stakeholders in the country, unless politics rears its ugly head once again, as is usual in this country. Sweet sixteen on the way!

The road to the sweet 16 has begun!

I believe UL is a very good team, they are the number 1 team in Region 1 not only in Pangasinan for how many years already, their true test however is against Mapua, if they surpass Mapua then they are meant to be in the Sweet 16.

As my moniker goes this tournament will only be successful if the (champion, seeded) teams will be sending their BEST teams…

On topic: Great to see the win by the UL Tigers vs. Lyceum. Hope they do qualify for the Sweet Sixteen!
