Letran’s absence is La Salle’s gain

We were waiting for a real treat today but it didn’t happen. The De La Salle Green Archers were present and accounted for then checked in the hard court at 4PM but still no sign of the Letran Knights, unfortunately, they had other plans.

The result is obvious, the La Salle Green Archers will go home and win by mere default courtesy of the Letran Knights.

According to FilOil Flying V Preseason Tournament head organizer, Mr. Dave Dualan, Letran Knights head coach Louie Alas tendered his request for a re-sched of thier match last Monday, May 19, 2008 to a later date because of his commitment to coach Hapee Toothpaste in the PBL finals to be held in Batangas. Mr. Dualan did not promise but will do his best to try and re-sched the game, but as it turned out the request was to short a notice to be granted. Coach Alas cannot be reached for comment as of this time.

What puzzles everyone, is that the Knights’ players that have PBL commitments have been available since their respective teams have bowed out of the PBL race plus the fact that they have assistant coaches that can sit on the bench and guide their troops for today’s encounter with the Green Archers.

More on this later……
