Word has it that Kirk Long’s student visa was not yet released as of the middle of the first round. The question is how was he able to enroll at Ateneo if he did not have a student visa. This also happened to a baseball player of Ateneo last year.

Green Mind: Sir, with all due respect, what incomplete documents issues about Kirk Long are you talking about? I haven’t heard or read anything about that in the news or in basketball circles. The boy has been here for quite a while now, hanggang ngayon ba kulang pa din documents niya? o baka kuwentong barbero din lang yan?

UST is not making a big fuss about it because if they do then their championship last year could be revoked. Ateneo is not making a big fuss either cos they have somethings to hide like the Kirk Long issue of having incomplete documents. Thats how they are. UST is not raising the Borboran issue because then UE might raise the falsification of public documents issue of Duncil. FEU is not raiing the issue because of the alleged gambling that got a player sacked.

They knew Duncil had 2 birth certificates. They should know about Borboran because his bio is splattered on the Nike Symmer League website. They just choose to look the other way.

The UAAP Board is not in a position to correct itself. The Board that represents the UAAP is the problem.

i have not attacked anyone’s comments in this thread. so i apologize if it seemed to be that way. everyone is entitled to his opinion. my posts were mainly targeted towards the UAAP Board’s inertia but i am still hoping that this will change for the better.
